This course is designed to provide basic knowledge on Halal slaughtering requirements based on the Singapore Muis Halal Standards (SMHS) and Muis Halal Certification conditions (HCC).
The course is great for learners who are working in the poultry industry or are interested to know about Muis Halal Slaughtering Requirements.
At the end of the course, learners will improve their understanding of the concept of Halal, conditions for Halal slaughtering in Singapore and the roles and responsibilities of key personnel in a poultry abattoirs providing Halal-certified poultries. The course also includes information on the different Halal Assurance Points (HAP) during the slaughtering process to help learners. In addition, learners will be aware of Halal Certification-related breaches.
